Waterproofing
Using resin or traditional materials, Audaces Edilizia makes waterproofing works on flat and pitched roofs, civil and industrial roofs, balconies and terraces, roof gardens in car parks and wet places (such as kitchens, bathrooms, swimming pools and saunas).
The coverings are subject to many stresses such as weather, sunlight and exposure to chemical pollution. Furthermore, seasonal temperature variations cause movement of the substrate and induce considerable stress on the waterproofing. For this reason, especially for renovation works on old roofs with a particular finish (rich in details and with very irregular shapes), it is preferable to use the resin, to effectively protect the building from water infiltration.
After curing, the polymerization, the resin forms a sealing coating with outstanding performance and long service life. The reasons for this performance are the typical characteristics of the resin, the reduced thickness and the application techniques.
Furthermore, it is easy to waterproof details such as skylights, flues, outcropping pipes or, if necessary, remodel the coating without removing the existing waterproofing by joining the new waterproofing to the old surface. This significantly reduces costs, inconvenience and the danger of demolition.
Thanks to its elasticity, its ability to adhere to glass and other materials, its ability to maintain transparency for many years, the resin can also be used to waterproof glass surfaces that suffer from water infiltration or partial cracking.
